St Andrew's High SchoolHello guys, just want to tell you people i will not write todays post as Shrikant, but as a THIRD person observing him, his parents, his friends.
So before starting about SHRIKANT's engineering life let me tell about what this guy was all about in school and during his junior college days.
Shrikant Shedge, born on 22nd December is a guy from a middle class family, none from his family had ever taken admission in a Convent school, but he was admitted in ST Andrew's High School for even his nursery teacher had realised that this guy is good, and she was the one who literally forced his parents to admitt him in a Convent School. Later on school days were as expected for a guy like him. He was always among the toppers in his batch, and he surely fulfilled everybody's expectations in school by passing SSC with 90% score. So all in all he was a very sincere boy in school, very well known in his senior batch as well as his juniors.
With a score of 90% he could have got admission in any of the reputed colleges in Pune, but just because his family would not have been able to afford him going to Pune everyday he had to take admission in Jai Hind Pimpri. Although we wanted to seek admission in FC Pune he was well aware that his sister too goes to a college in pune everyday and her expenses per day were quite high,so he never said anything regarding this and happily went to Jai Hind. During all these days though he had many friends, he had 2 very special people except for his family who had helped him be what he his and they were Rahul Mahajan and Avinash Salimath, his best friends.
In his junior college days he did change a bit. He started getting more involved with other people, played many pranks with guys around, was been punished a lot of times. Even the teachers were fed up of him and though he was sincere in studies, some of his teachers were quite sure that he is not going to clear HSC exams, but destiny had written something else for him. This guy shocked each and everybody in his college when the HSC results were declared. Shrikant had not only topped his college with 92%, but stood 11th in the merit list in whole Pune, the biggest gift he could give to his parents. He was very happy that day, more happy for his parents because they were the one who were responsible for what he had achieved that day.
So when nobody believed that he could do it, he kept quiet and showed people what he is capable of. Shrikant says, "My efforts are just 30%...remaining 60% my parents and 10% rahul...he was one guy who was always with me."
Though this post is going quite big, i just tried to sum up his school and college life in short.
Intentions behind telling these were:
- Always keep in mind that your parents are doing so much for you, so learn to compromise just for them, never hurt them and whatever yo are today is just because of them.
- Never ever underestimate anybody, because each and every person has some certain skill which is surely going to flourish some day.
- When things are going wrong always be patient, and believe in yourself.
So from tomorrow the real fun begins, where Shrikant entered his Engineering life....get ready for the masala of his college life....i am sure you people are going to enjoy it.
